Album description

The intoxicating delight of the sounds of bells. The Christmas Bells CD blends virtual analogue modelling synthesis with the crystal clear realistic multisampling of bell sounds by Roland (SRX/XV series). The warm rendering of an analogue mix on mmb’s Fostex 350 vintage mixer has preserved the emotion of this music composed, produced and performed amid the atmosphere of Christmas. The album ends with homage to Gabriel, Marc’s regretted uncle. “I hope this music composed with the loving kindness sounds of bells in the ambiance of Christmas time will rejoice, soothe and appease, as a recollection of Xmas agape… This CD is dedicated in memoriam Gabriel, with a special attention to his kind wife, children and grand-children who are still missing him very much.”

Modern, Uplifting & Joyously Different. Yet Simply, Delightful & Magical & Festive.

I could just picture this playing in my house on Christmas Day. As I look out the window on a snow covered bliss filled day. And hearing this play in the background as the children up wrap their Christmas presents. And my hubby smiles and enjoys himself also. Watching the kids unwrap their gifts. And this modern, stylish, electronic, bells music. Giving us joy, blessings and a tradition that was more upbeat, festive and appropriate for these modern times now.

Good album

I am looking for good Christmas instrumentals that would be great at my holiday party. I listened to a few of the songs seeing if I could find anything that would bring out that festive cheer and just didn't feel it. I couldn't find anything that would make me think that this is a Christmas album besides for the title. I still enjoyed what I heard for the electronic sound is very unique, just not really festive.

An interestingly focused album. Very "open" feeling arrangements, and some lovely sounds.
