Luego de un año en que la estrategia pasó por mostrar el material desde la web www.electrosaurio.com.ar, ahora lo llevan a los escenarios, dándole la espalda a la industria discográfica porque “está en decadencia”, dicen.

Se autodefinen como una expresión del denominado “electro rock”, combo que fusiona música electrónica, bandejas, samplers y rock. “Electrosaurio”, la banda cordobesa de Julio Anastasia presenta su primer trabajo el próximo sábado 8 de septiembre a la medianoche.

“La idea era tratar de reunir los estilos de música que más me gustan en una sola banda. Es algo bastante novedoso porque no hay en el mercado fusiones tan fuertes. La gente va a escuchar house o chill out con aportes rockeros que admiten a Hendrix o Zeppelín”, comentó Julio.

Desde el punto de vista de la estrategia comercial y de distribución, “Electrosaurio”, el disco de la banda homónima se puede escuchar y descargar gratuitamente desde el sitio de la banda que apuesta a hacerse fuerte en los escenarios y no tiene proyectos de editar un CD.

“Creo que muchas bandas, e incluso muchos sellos, se están dando cuenta que la venta de CD´s está en decadencia. Hoy todo pasa por la web, muchísima gente ya vio el video en YouTube, y hoy lo que más nos interesa es que la gente conozca nuestra música y la comparta con nuestra aprobación”.

Además del ex Los Navarros, la formación se completa con músicos de distintos ámbitos como el DJ Fede Flores (Locotes, La Pata de la Tuerta), Sebastián “Pacán” García (Atento Torri), Gregorio Moyano (baterista de bandas de jazz y funk), Carlos Bielewicz y Roly Gallardo.

Después de Club F, el 20 de septiembre la banda estará tocando en La Previa, en Alta Córdoba y el 27 ya está confirmada una fecha junto a Molotov en Río Cuarto.

Excelencia Calidad

Sin palabras.. en el primer tema me hacen recordar a Linkin Park (una de mis bandas favoritas) y es excelente la combinación de los instrumentos y los samples y efectos electrónicos, la interpretación de las letras a veces carece de cierta fuerza (a mi parecer) y apuesto a que usan "fruityloops" xD...

Un saludo enorme y sigan así, su trabajo está muy bien y son muy poquita canciones!.. Espero ver más de ustedes

Good album

Really good sound; effects and combinations.
Sometimes more techno, sometimes more heavy, the songs are powerful and dynamic.

The singer should decided whether to follow the "Classic Metal" or the "Latin Pop" style; he ends up somewhere in between, which is really a pity.

Though I didn't like all the songs, which are hardly my style, I do recommend this album.

Surprisingly Excellent

A disclaimer - I don't speak Spanish so the lyrics aren't considered in this review.

Track 1 musically sounds very much like Linkin Park (only without the rap and in Spanish of course). The singer however has a 'smoother' voice and there's no call-and-response verse/chorus structure (which is a good thing in my opinion). A solid metal track.

Track 2 is an almost pure metal song with only a little techno 'interference'. A driving beat and well thought out guitar pieces hurl it forward.

Track 3 is an odd one. It starts off electro-ambient in style before the guitar and drums truly kick-in and when they do it never really lifts off. A decent song but slightly out of place against the others.

Track 4 is feel good heavy rock-n-roll (as stated, the lyrics might make it something totally different!) It has a descending verse into a techno yelp backed chorus (much better than you might think) and one of the high points.

Track 5 again starts with an electro-ballad intro before the song fully forms into a quiet verse/loud chorus pattern which although slightly predictable is very well executed.

Track 6 I can best describe as the Orb meets Motley Crue with the Crue coming out on top.

If I had to pick a fault with the album it would be that the electro aspect wasn't explored further. I think they could have done more, especially considering their name.

All in all a surprisingly excellent album let down (only slightly) in my opinion by the third song. I never expected to like this album in all honestly but will definitely be keeping it on my playlist.

I just wish I spoke Spanish so I knew what the songs were about!
