Album description

It’s not what I’ve expected. The tag said it’s a experimental darkambient kind of music, so I wanted something more like Aphex Twin than Jarre Jr., but maybe I just lifted my expectations too high. The arrangements on Cycle are limited to keyboards, and that’s the first disappointment. What’s more, compositions are not really convincing, I mean, there is nothing very sophisticated there, and sounds lay in the sphere of the basic bank-sound of midi equipment. Even the ambient samples at the begining of Reve d’evolution are pretty pre-packaged and what happens next is a cheerful amateurship.
Generally, it’s not a thing to publish, just some sort of not exactly sound music experiment.

Stay cool,

Le Debut De Toutes Choses once the melody kicked in found its balance well, interesting track. Then it breaks into a kind of symphonic rock sound to emphasise the original melody, which to my mind was doing all right. It ends with a lovely throbbing feel.

Utopie is light at first, then some reverberating bass and scatterings of melodious rhythm and percussion. Well built. Nice and mellow flow. It has to be an ambient piece and suits the title. Candide indeed on the coast of some golden garden of Eden. Mellifluous piano towards the end, surpassing the sweetness of a dawn chorus.

Noeud resonates tympanically, joined by a deep melody and lovely organ sounds. A danse macabre to be sure, a funereal dirge of a lighted pyre.

Reve d'Evolution was a place somewhere in time and space, and then picking up the phone allows a cascade of entertainment to flow into that framework. Expressed well.

Nouvel Age is a very nice lo-fi tune. Which develops into a lovely sense of dynamic dramatics.

Decadence is like a musical doodle that gets out of all proportion on the sandy beach of your imagination. Knowing that the tide will take it all away anyway.

La Fin De Toutes Choses broodingly, sulkily lets you into itself. A retinue of morbid sound resounds and burbles, before it throws a musical tantrum. Then, the storm passes by as if it had never been.
