Like a switch that turned instantly turn on inside me..The music just started to take me over and made me feel the powers and golden rays of seduction and stimulation and the pure power and magic of the music. As it pulsated and resonated and danced within my heart and soul. And the infectious of the electronic, drumnbass synthesizer music took me over..More and more, my feet and body started to itch and I could not control myself and I danced like a mad woman around my room, with the volume way on up on my headphones. Dancing crazy, dancing having fun, dancing have a great time. Smiling like a crazy fool. I closed my eyes. And I was the music and it was me.. Fever is high. fever takes me over. Sublime, intoxicating, exceptional fun, creative, decent, stylish, brilliant music. What more can I say.. Nothing. as of course its by Berty.. what do you expect but nothing more than perfection... and he always without doubt does that.... Bravo..

Very Daft-ish, nice dry beats and sharp electro sounds. Not super-fresh but nice to listen to...

"The Signal" plays out as a sweep that has found the signal, and all the transient music associated with it. Great use of a "dweep"ing sound for the signal!
"Utopia" has a growling synth and driving bassline. Gotta love that!
"Remember DJ Cono Mix" is an excursion in to a different sound, but remains on tract with the other selections.
"The Signal (Miliken ReMix)" keeps in line with the original track, but adds a bit of flair to it, without changing it entirely. Good work!
"Echoes Of A Signal (Sandamix)" keeps it light, but delivers the same content, again, of the original, just on a different level. Nicely done.

As I said, not disappointing at all! Another addition to my BertycoX collection

Sir Thomas More's Utopia may of just been an imaginary island. But there is no denying that this track has the positive and vibrant energy that can add up to a feeling of well being.

Lets start with the good things first: it has a nice collection of themes and bits that are easy to remember. some nice experimental sections and interessting combinations.

signal: blends very nice with its own elements, has a fairly clear theme and that doesnt confuse. personally i find it to be the strongest track of the album.

utopia: has a nice classic feel to it but it constantly moves in an up and down wavelike motion that gets a bit bland after a while.

Remember: has nice sectional elements but its theme is rather confusing like somebody hitting random keys on the keyboard between harmonies. sadly i find the parts dont tie together well.

the remixes are ok i guess but not as good as the original.

the tracks sound very similar in type with sections repeating a lot of times. which is (i guess) why some people find it to sound "manufactured"
but its nice to listen to relax and not bad hope the review isnt too harshsounding and helps :)
