Originally published in 2003, these tracks languised for years and have only now been made available at part of the Ramp back catalogue for download!
This EP represents the first Ramp solo tracks after the band split apart and went on hiatus almost a decade beforehand. The Origin Stories tracks were originally intended to form the basis for the Peristalsis full-length album, but as time passed it became apparent that they represented a different sound and a different time. These tracks tend to be longer-form, slower-moving and more introspective.
They also represent the last tracks to be composed using traditional hardware synthesizers and samplers, before moving to a mobile soft studio.
