I am surprised that it has been commented that this fantastic music didn't 'touch' the soul, when, all things admittedly being subjective, I found it very profoundly touching, but in a subtle way which others might not pick up, without an easy big beat to it. As far as being a fan anyway, there is a beautiful essence of the 'nu' to it and I love the democratic freeform, it suits me fine and I feel its inherent passion to my core. Excellent EP from an artist at the forefront of the new movement. Fantastic work Nikila. Thanks for sharing.

What an excellently unique package we have in this album. This is the kind of great music to listen to while writing poetry, haiku, short creative works, paint, be artistic to. Very nice atmosphere and mood to this album. I felt as though something was trying to speak to me through this music. Very dreamy - uses a few different pieces of the brain then we usually use while listening to music. Its very artistic and beautiful. I am listening to the album over again as I write this and I am very impressed with the use of quiet, or white spaces in the artistry of this music. I need to go check out the rest of this artists albums.

If you are looking for music to meditate to down load this album, it is perfect. I also think it would be good for reading, relaxing, a wine tasting party or the like. The rhythm is solid, the sound is like a soft jazzy techno dream. Very nice, very smooth. The album cover was well chosen. I am not sure I would want to see this act live. It would be more dinner music.

On rêve, on se laisse aller avec cet album aux harmonies douces et agréables. C'est un enchantement pour les oreilles ! Un réel plaisir que de se laisser bercer par ces accords remplis de douceur.
J'attends avec impatience le prochain album mais celui-ci part direct dans mes favoris.

This record stands up in every objective parameter: The production and sound is amazing, all sounds clean and balanced.
It is original and brave, as well, being as it is far from any "academic" rule or easy listening stream.

But the downside, for me, is everything else. That is, the subjective part. I like music to be thrilling or amusing, and this record didn't touch me in any of those senses. That's why the final rating is lower.

This music is not like anything you heard before. Extremely creative and innovative it strikes your ears with unequaled combinations, harmonies and rhythms. I really like the jazzy mood of this album, the sounds of upright bass and that it's less noisy than the previous albums. Without doubt Nikila's most prominent talent is the sense of rhythm. All the tracks are based on breathtaking breakbeats, original and complicated. The most cool track in my opinion is Tango.
