Album description
The concept behind 1986 was to make an oldschool space ambient album using pure synthesizer. 1986 was created using only a Casio CZ-3000 and recorded totally live with no overdubs directly to hard disk using the Ecasound command-line recording software for Linux. No added fx were used, all was done within the CZ. The success of this album was also what inspired me to create the Mothman Z3000 software synth which emulates the CZ-3000.
