Woow, it's the first time i listen to an album on Jamendo, and it's truely an awesome album, a real journey in a different world.
thanks for this album.
its really beautiful. im not so into this kind of music but i enjoy listening to you. keep on that awsome work. i love it.
One of five albums downloaded on my introduction to Jamendo, this is far and away the best.
"Stop", with its intriguing yelping rock riff drew me back for more after the first play through and the remaining tracks soon added line and sinker to its terrific hook.
Deep resounding bass and deliciously slap-happy percussion form the solid foundation for gritty guitar and haunting orchestral sounds which in turn relax, rouse and rock the listener. Check out "Cellule" for some thrash therapy or "Larmes" for Morse-meets-Monastery-of-Sound classicality.
I guess only "Experience", the one-minuter, disappoints, sounding rather like an irate neighbour hammering on the door while he's tuning up. Or maybe it's a record company scout beating a path to his portal . . .
Excellent stuff. I'll be downloading more Silence for certain.
Nice cover
a cohesive and addictive soundscape.
a real artistic stuff is looming out of the loops.
my favorite song: stop!, because i think this is the one which do manage to vehicle emotions (even if they are not very ...)
production can and must be improved.
One of my first downloads, I didn´t have any references of this group so it was a question of luck. Nice luck, since I am now more interested in Silence (I´m going to download everything from them).
With these songs, I´ve rediscovered the music. I was fed up about stupid songs in radio, and my old LPs didn´t give me anymore the feeling I needed for loving music. I couldn´t find anything REALLY interesting, except no more than 5 or 10 groups in about... 10 years? with JAMENDO, and specially with SILENCE (well, there are a pair more of groups I´m in love with right now, from jamendo), I´ve got back my ilusion in music.
A dark album, may be not easy to listen for "pop-people". But who cares, it gives you a very pleasant feeling when listening to it, even with the darkness that involves the music. Enough, at least for me.
L’autre endroit is my first download from Jamendo. Very eerie euro-techno, I think! Languorous lulls and then some serious weirdness emerges. Enjoyable
