Album description

1.0 is the first album of Orxata Sound System, until now we had been able to listen to a pair of beta versions and a demo.
This is the result of more than two years of work; an album in which different influences within electronic music and valencian folk music come together; electro, dub, drum&bass, ragga, rap, jazz, folk, tecno, dance... Four voices, a bass, a trumpet and a programmer, along with valuable collaborations like the one of Carles Belda to the accordion [Pomada], Marc Sempere to the shouts [Jalea Real and iX], Marcos Úbeda with trombone [Obrint Pas] and dj Chola and dj V [Sucios Por Norma] to plates.
The new sound of valència, Post-Bacalao in pure state!

Cracking, really lively and lovely sound. Could maybe sound a tiny bit 'thicker' but I'm nit picking. I love this.

If you want to experience, what a real live performance and show is like. Then just check this album out. As you truly absorb and feel all. From great use of vocals and lyrics. To good music, that resonates and bounces inside your mind and brilliant,styles from funk, electronic,ska, drumnbass and so much more besides on this superb album.

1.0 hits the mark with some cool tracks that cover many different styles of techno. There are some good bass lines in most of the songs that sort of tie things together, but the vocals really set things up! My favourite tune is ofensiva tutupà, the first half of it being amazing.

Wow, what a difference this is from Orxata's first eponymous attempt. Many of the songs are "the same" as from their first demo, but much improved: better samples, smoother beats, funkier more danceable grooves. Fun electro-ska-dub-n-bass-funk. The first track is merely an ambient intro, not the sound of the rest of the album. Recommended!

WoW !
J'ai eu un peu de mal à rentrer dedans à la première écoute et ai laissé cet album traîner sur mon DD pendant un petit moment.
Et puis ce matin en faisant un peu le tri dans mes musiques Jamendo, je suis retombé dessus... Et c'est de la pure bombe !

Une sincérité (et simplicité) dans les voix qui donnent du cachet à l'ensemble de cet album qui a une pêche terrible en alternant "folklore", musique du monde, le tout avec une touche de Drum'n Bass très bien placée!

Velmi podarene album. Textu sice vobec nerozumiem, ale hudba je to velmi vyvazena a ziva :) Super na zlepsenie nalady :)
