do this/do that

I loved the way..this whole album. makes you feel..like your in a trippy state of mind and body..on hearing it play..like you are.... in a good.. yet... relaxed and extremely calming.... state of grace..as his compatible... strong yet...charismatic...interesting, voice.and the stimulatingly charged..driven,aura filled grunge music. just resonates and dances and bounces around you...and rifts... inside your ears drums..

with some great guitar riffs and some good strong solos..to tease and please me....and put me...more... into a hypnotic spell of euphoria and bliss..
Just needs some slight tweaks to give it that extra vavoom and bit more personality and attitude that it seems to slightly lack.

Some of these songs point directly to dead grunge bands.
These songs are probably a lot better live than they are on record.
Damn, this singer sounds bored.
My favorite song on this was "Come With Me". That one stood out above the others, in my opinion.

I was one of those that rushed to the musical stores to get my copies of Nirvana's Nevermind and Pearl Jam's Ten... and played them to exhaustion. And they, constitute practically my sole incursions in the "strange" world of grunge... until now. I am, musically speaking, a very curious kinda person that ends up listening to almost a bit of everything. Sometimes, I get stuck in the most unexpected places...

I will not even try to establish a relation with those bands I mentioned above, because my knowledge of their work, is short. Despite at least one of them seem to be somehow a reference to this work, I prefer to stay off, because, it also seems to me there's more than just marked influences in here.

Despite the "dirty" and aggressive tendencies of the sound and lyrics, there's a sort of dissimulated sweetness more or less showing from time to time, that stays there somewhere along the several tracks of the album, which leaves an unconscious desire, to get back on the saddle and ride it again.

So I did... and I'm still riding it.
