Seems to be a slight change in direction. Don't get me wrong, I love "The Glue Factory", but it did take multiple listens to fully appreciate it. I'm a little more than half way though "Further Adventures in Monkeyland" and ever since the first note of the first song it has been immediately accessible and a pleasure to listen to. Because I love Heifervesent, this album will also receive multiple listens, and I'm sure it will become even more great. Keep up the great work.

[EDIT] I'm through my first listen, and my original words hold true to the very end.

Heifervescent has definately polished their sound up! From "Seed of Sin" to "Don't Die On Me," they've gone a whole great direction! One may find there are tinges of U2 in the mix...
Well done guys!!

The whole album is great, but you must check out 'Seed of Sin' and 'Don't die on me'. Those songs are out of this world! All in all, great record, a good addition to your collection. Also if you like songs a bit more mellow, check out 'Chase the Vagabonds' (pretty good song too).

Really liked this album. Thanks for sharing!

Heifervescent is one of my Jamendo all-time favorites and "Further Adventures in Monkeyland" doesn't disappoint. "Rejuvination" appears on this months (August 2011) online radio show here:

Check out Heifervescent!

Some good stuff here. I really liked figure 8 and All the way to the pit in particular.

My ears where in seventh heaven..on hearing this band play..professional. polished..sharp and crystal clear sound quality...and great compositions in general...from this top quality band in general.....

and a great vibrant energy and good happy uplifting vibrations..coming from this up and groovy cool...stylish and wholesome and extremely meaningful... energetic band.....that is also passionate and powerful...electric and good use of indie/pop/rock songs in general..on a profound album...that is driven and determined to give all..to it listeners and surely does so..with such easy..

That is also really gritty...meaningful..catchy and modern sounding...and just melted and oozed... inside my head and ears...

and instantly made me want to keep it... and down load it..and play it... over and over again..as it was that great sound..

Each and every songs..just got better and better..like a good wine..the flavours just seeped and flood out..the more... I tasted the goods..the more I lapped up... and enjoyed all..and this lead-singers..voice..just melted inside me...and all around me..and just seemed... to fit perfectly...to the soundtracks and songs.. with such easy, clarity and greatness in general..

He was compassionate..sincere and has a strong..voice..to project the lyrics with such class and style...I just relaxed and basked...inside his voice and superb music..and lost track of time and where I was..because I was so.. into the album..

thank you for giving me such joy..happiness and fun filled great moments..to cherish..and simply get into... cheers guys..Dawn.

You can not improve this anymore..perfect...perfect ....perfect...top quality..recommended material....

super duper monkey trooper! Excellent production and songs.

Happy as can be, under the circumstances... let there be soccer, an occasional holiday and music. With porridge and cakes, are deceived the fools, or the monkeys in the case and let's not forget about bananas for the purpose... and I don't quite like soccer, so... let there be music.

I think that this is a very refined piece of musical work and on that account extremely easy to listen... it's not that the music is blatantly melodic, or redundantly pop. However, the polishing, to use SouthOMike's expression, can give a first time "wrong" impression.
To this monkey here, this is excellent as usual... but somehow, more evolved and close to the listener.

Fine cover art, too.

Easy to listen...I dunno...Just this: SO easy to listen...
Do you know Heifervescent? Well, this album is at second place after Pondlife Fiasco...but this mean is a real good album.
Feel something so..."British" inside XD.

I personally LOVE the cover art...maybe some younger user don't know Guybrush Treepwood ;). Fortunately, we do.
