Premier titre de Airs Post-Godzenbuth présenté sous deux versions différentes, Chant des Silènes est atypique, et sa consonnance world le met à part dans la saga airpostgodzenbuthiène.

Pour la petite histoire, la mélodie à l'origine de cette composition a été composée, sur une flûte de pan décalée de un quart de ton environ, ce qui n'a pas simplifiée la tâche !
