The Abogix laughs but maybe cries too in the middle of the night. He got rid of the mindspins through this great piece of music where beauty and fear, ugliness and hope, peace and unrest struggle for their presence. Its no or/or , its definitely and/and here, like in real life. The demons can let you appreciate beauty.
track 1 cheerful started tones hide the threatening message. Angel Eggs are transported towards the innocent(?) victim. Heavenly distorted sounds are luring behind the safe church.
track 2 opens the seduction. There still seems no problem choosing where to go, superb mix of serene beauty and unknown darkish corners
track 3 Great psychedelics combined with heavy gothic. Damned Steve Hillage delivers a mushroom trip that can cause unexperienced ears to fall in despair and see really bad spirits. And that within musical beauty :)
track 4 the heartbeat ties you further into a place you no longer can control, into a space deeper below the ground, voices are gettin more inhuman, atmosphere really getting frightening and threatening.
track 5 paints the duality written down in the intro, for me it's pure beauty here thanks to a seemingly neutralised evil. A superb relaxing track.
track 6 gives a hind of his krauty preferred tastes with this pulsating piece towards a jazzy worldy mix where all styles seem to converge. Salvation!
track 7 shows diabolus again, which i thought was left behind in the catcher.Personally i have a bit problems with too much explaining voices, and only this track prevents me for giving the nearly deserved 10 stars... I guess diabolus always stays around tempting us to make bad music, but he may be glad figuring in this superb work, being unable to stop the Abogix making this masterpiece.
The sleeve is a work of art too, the music overall is extremely well produced and mastered, and i'm happy the Abogix masters it that great now, so we don't have to wait that long anymore to enjoy his new releases. Thank you for this milestone in yer work.

Of course Master Abogix never goes below the certain (high) level. However, this album is too ambient for me - saying ambient I mean calm and monotonous. Not much is happening throughout some tracks, apart from the diabolic speeches - what is another drawback for me. I'm definitely not keen on including speeches in musical tunes. It distracts attention from the music itself.

Nevertheless, I encourage you to check it out, because as I said the quality of this recording is still very high and it can appeal to you, if you are an ambient fan and inclusion of speeches is not a disadvantage for you.

track nr one has got voodoo in it! don't listen ....I said, don't!! Danger!!
(uuhh, that's what the master wants - he want's to hook you, never let you go ...
you would like to think: "ooh, one of his great movies again, another soundtrack" I'm afraid not - this maybe reality ...
(scary, isn't it?)
and so we float into uncertainties, the company of monsters in dark forests. its those new hampshire mountains of h.p. lovecraft again, its knowing, that there is no happy end.

rez wants us to meet his best friends ...

sounds are professional, even more than on the albums before. resources must be gigantic - there is so much quotes on this - how do you get to know all these sound-bits from the past - amazing

atmosphere is perfect, and, if the artist wouldn't pre-occupie us with all this diabolic scenary, there is a lot of other things, I could imagine while listening. Music is comprised of great rythms and schematic soundscapes, so there is a lot of room for interpretation.

some parts of this would easily go as an ethnic field recording, maybe from a voodoo ceremony in haiti ...

Really great.. Reading from the Book of Evil made me a bit scared in broad daylight.
