About
ieatpants is one man. one man with two or three degrees and a certificate of some sort. none of those things make it ok for ieatpants to do what he does... which is, um, music? i guess?
ieatpants lives and works and dances in brooklyn, near the park. he makes music in his bedroom. it's often inspired by strange events or romance or mirrors or staring into the soul of the galaxy while listening to the sounds of sleeping sardines.
sort of acoustic, sometimes very electric... the music comes across as folk or singer/songwriter, but throw a bit of psych and noise in there and you're getting warmer.
sounds like: xiu xiu, (smog), can, damien jurado, oneida, kraftwerk, iron & wine, bright eyes, ray lamontagne, galaxie 500, flaming lips, liars, dinosaur jr., mt. eerie, chad vangaalen, american analog set, and probably at least 4 more.
inspired by: ennio morricone, jorge luis borges, philip k. dick, paul f. tompkins, neil degrasse tyson
