Betray-Ed is a french one-man band leaded by François, who also goes under the name Walran, and which was created in 2004.

The aim of Betray-Ed is to express the deepest and most sincere emotions of its creator. If all the albums are displaying a mix between Dark/atmospheric Metal and folk and ambient influences, the EPs can be considered as free elements, new paths of exploration, always very different from each other.

Betray-Ed has released three albums on small labels, but is always looking for new labels to release its works.

In 2010, the band, which consists of François (Keyboards, vocals, percussions and folk instruments), and Adelaïde (electric & acoustic guitars) published two EPs and one full length, Forsaken Fairytales, finished in September.
