Shortly after the break-up of the Soviet Union composer, musician, producer and sound engineer Alexsey Zakharenko AKA Origen from Kiev-Ukraine started recording Orthodox Church choral music In 1995 Alexsey Zakharenko recorded and released CD "All Night Vigil" -traditional praise and worship music of Kyiv Pechersk Monastery. It was the first authentic churchl music CD in the Ukraine. Later he founded Origen Music. Since 2007 Origen Music started to promote talented indie artists from all around the world.
