As I worked in the transport sector, composing and producing music had been a hobby which I am developing.   This 'Theme Musiq' album is a selection of my works - they are all instrumentals.  All the works on my album were composed, performed and produced by me using electronic keyboards and recording software.

I'd learnt piano and progressed into popular music from classical.  I don't perform live gigs but when I was younger for a while I did play in a band.  I enjoy a wide range of  music from Beatles to Muse.

I had longed to produce music and new technology made this possible.  Although I composed a few of the melodies a long time ago, I produced these tracks between 2008 and 2011 in my spare time.   The musiq is melodious and I decided to call the EP 'Theme Musiq'.

'Festivalis', which was composed at the height of the banking crisis conjures up a festival spirit  - especially village or rural festivals with dancing, community spirit and love in the air - now or yesteryear, around the world. 

'Medteq' takes its name from the (originally slow) music I was inspired to compose following visits to the Mediteranean Region, especially Cassis, Alhambra and Kefalonia, set to a disco beat.  

'Dezyre'  has a feel associated with empires,  power, welath, love, lust - modern or bygone era -  across the four corners or the world. 

I chose the 'Road to Vegas' title from a drive I'd made a few years ago along the open roads, Route 66  between Grand Canyon and Los Vegas.

I was inspired to compose the 'Theme X' music  following a team reconnaissance tour of some of Thames Valley's highways (South East England). I finished the original version in Spring 2010 and a different version in May 2011 which I released on Jamendo as a Single 'Theme X (Remix)'.
