TPL offer tunes with the industry credibility of the alternative/underground culture, whilst also having something to say, drawing inspiration from everyday life and experience. "We chose the name because anything we write about has in some way affec...ted our life and we make it public through songwriting," (singer/guitarist Jimmy Pollock)

Influences like 'Interpol' & 'Sleepy Jacksons' as well as the UK's 'Turin Breaks', 'The Doves' and the worldwide 'Jeff Buckley' are no surprise given the bands' background.
