The group was formed in 2002 by a composer and guitarist Alexander Permyakov.
He had been thinking of forming such a group from his youth.
It was the time he first experienced composing. After finishing the musical college
he made his first steps on this way. He founded the group Alexandria.
The first staff comprised Alexander Permyakov – guitars, Alexey Litvinyonok – guitars,
Andrew Sevryugin – bass, Ruslan Murtazin – drums.
Later, a singer Eugenia Muravyova joined them, and the first demo records were made.
In 2003 Eugenia Muravyova and Andrew Sevryugin left the group and were replaced
by Natalya Serikova (vocals) and Alexey Myunkh (bass) Alexey Ivanov (keyboards)
joined them. This group recorded three albums: “В тупике” in 2003, “Александрия”
in 2004 and “Один в раю” – in 2005. In 2005 Natalya Serikova, Ruslan Murtazin,
Alexey Myunkh and Alexey Ivanov left the group. In 2006 new musicians,
Albina Drozdovskaya – vocals, Nikita Chernyshov – drums,
Alexey Dyldin – bass and Ilya Melkozyorov – keyboards formed the group.
They had been working at the new material and in 2007 the first English language
album “Beauty and beast” was recorded (with the participation of the vocalist
Ilya “Wopler” from the group “Paganizer”)
In autumn the group started recording a new album that will appear in spring 2008.
