HISTORIA
Gotzon Monasterio ( Doctor Blues ) nacido en Bermeo en el año 54- Ha formado parte en
bandas legendarias de Bilbao como FUERON los ONICES -1970-75 Ganadores del
Festival de Música del Club PIPERS DE BAKIO (Bizkaia-Spain ) en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento Bakiense en el año 1970 También toco con una banda BERMEANA llamada L IFE BLUES BAND, GANADORES DEL 7º CONCURSO DE MUSICA MODERNA DE GALDAKANO año- 1975.
Otra banda de la que fue miembro se llamo KIKE TURMIX Y LOS PASAPURES; liderado por el monstruo más gordo del ROCK & ROLL VASCO, KIKE TURMIX Que fuè miembro del grupo PLESURE FOCKERS hoy en dia grupo desaparecido para desgracia del Rock.
Fundo junto con Juan Carlos Ramos ..( Washington Slim )el grupo WASHINGTON BLUES BAND ; BANDA DE VIDA EFÌMERA PERO PLENA
Mas tarde junto al mismo Wasingnton Slim y algunos componentes de la extinta
banda PAPA BLUES BAND Fundaría la banda BILBOBLUS, una de las bandas màs
populares de Bilbao y que tuvo siete años de vida. Toco con la banda de reggae

Colaboro en numerosos JAM SESSIONS DE MUSICA en diferentes locales de Bilbao. Lo que le avala en experiencia musical Fue director musical de la FAMOSA SALA DE
CONCIERTOS GAUEKO DURANTE UNOS 8 AÑOS, CUYA TRAYECTORIA MUSICAL ES BIEN CONOCIDA EN BILBAO POR HABER SIDO EL PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO DE TODA LA MOVIDA ROCKERA DE BILBAO. ,
En Junio del 2000 actúa en ; EL FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE BLUES DE GETXO, .junto a artistas de la talla de; MAGIC SLIM, PAUL LAMB, LITLE CHARLYE & NIGTH CATS, EARL GREEN. ETC. Ha compartido Cartel también con RED HOUSE, ÑACO GOÑI, TONKY DE LA PEÑA, TRES HOMBRES, J. TEIXI BAND, EDU BIG HANDS, MALCOM SCARPA, JOSE LUIS PARDO (Mojoworkers), FELIX SLIM, LOS DELTONOS , ETC. EN DIFERENTES AUDITORIOS Y FESTIVALES, En Agosto del 2004 actúan en el Festival de UNAMUNO ROCK DE BILBAO, junto a 17 bandas locales, con muy buena critica de los medios de comunicación. Después de varios festivales locales actúan en el LEHENENGO BERMIOKO PORTU BLUES JAIALDIA año 2009 junto a bandas como SEX PI-R Y MIKE HAMER AND THE TAXI DRIVERS.
Guitarrista autodidacta; su estilo fusiona la forma de ERIC CLAPTON en su
elegancia, La agresividad de FREDYE KING y la fuerza de JIMY HENDRIX y STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN, T-BONE WALKER, , durante los 70 después de pasar por etapas de JAZZ-ROCK Y HARD ROCK, Respectivamente.
