The origins of Glaswald reach back till 2001, when, clouded in secrecy, the unfortunately lost recording 'Psychedelic Obsessions' came into being. Recalling this traumatic space improvisation, the young musicians Martin Pohl (keyboards) and Wolfgang Kirchheim (guitar) gathered again in spring 2004 and, in the confusion of the Basel carnival, exposed the buried foundations of the glass woods once more in their album 'Kägi-Fred im Wunderland'. Since then the two of them have documented several of their improvised musical trips on sound carrier and are now to be seen on stage with their fearless companions Meret St. Ilgen (laptop) and Simon Køb (bass, laptop).
