HYPERDUMP was formed in the summer of 2007 when four musiciens from various metal bands came together to work on a new and ambitous project. They immediately began to compose and record trial pieces with the objective of bringing together the strength of groups such as STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, the off-the-wall approach of FAITH NO MORE and the progressive spirit of DREAM THEATRE. The group has varied influences including their own previous groups and others such as IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH and GOJIRA. HYPERDUMP's musicis personal, melodic and without boundries. A few months into the project, a new drummer joined the team and rehearsals began. Recently a a keyboard and sampler player finalised the line up and the group is now ready to record its new demo and start giving concerts.
