Learning to play Cello from the age of 5, Jack began to explore other instruments at the age of 12. Now playing Bass Guitar, Guitar, Ukulele, and Piano, and possessed of an all encompassing interest in music history, Jack's writing draws on a wide array of influences and inspirations.
Playing continually in orchestras, string quartets, jazz trios and bands, and singing in choirs and close-harmony groups, Jack has gained a good deal of performance experience. Subtle influences from these eclectic experiences sparkle tantalizingly beneath the surface of his music.
With this, his first album, Jack strikes a blow for those who love music, but are a bit skint right now.
