Johnny Hoodoo from Stirling in Scotland is a performer of Country Blues/Delta Blues/Old Time Blues and Ragtime. He was the founder member and frontman of Falkirk indie band "Two Helens" in the 80s and their LP "Reflections in Red" was played by none other than John Peel. His deep love of old blues clashed with what "Two Helens" were doing so he moved on.
Nowadays He has a couple of guitars and a banjo and a time machine that takes him back to the 1920s.If you want to go there too just listen to some of his blues.Beautiful music and vocals that many of the "big names" cant match.
If the 1950s is more your thing "Johnny Hoodoo plays Rockabilly" should get you jumpin' n jivin'.It includes tracks by "Tali & Johnny",Tali being a slap bass player with 25 years experience.
Im telling you folks, this guy is well worth a listen.
