Dass Berlin in Sachen Rock einiges zu bieten hat, ist längst kein Geheimnis mehr. So gehören auch KingSizeNine mit ihrem ganz speziellen Emo-Rock zweifelsohne dazu.

Seit der Gründung im März 2005 vollzog die Band eine rasante Entwicklung. Standen am Anfang noch stilistische Erfahrungen mit Crossover und Punk an, so konnten sich die fünf Musiker mittlerweile einen Namen als Emorockband machen.

Fernab jeglicher Mainstreammusik besticht ihr außergewöhnlicher Rockmix:
eine dynamische und kraftvolle Symbiose aus den Lyrics, fetten Gitarren (Caspar und Steve N), pumpendem Bass (Sgt. Toni), knackigen Drums (Pimp Danny) und melodischem Gesang (Andi). Sowohl ruhige, melancholische Passagen als auch kraftvolle Parts wechseln sich ab. Die pure, persönliche Note mit einem eigenen, zeitlosen Sound und handgemachte Rockmusik, die frei von Klischees, aber dennoch voller Authentizität ist, avancierte zum besonderen Markenzeichen von KingSizeNine.

Nach Ihren ersten Gigs arbeiteten die fünf Musiker intensiv an einer Weiterentwicklung von bestehenden Stärken und Perfektionierung des eigenen Ausdrucks, um ihre Musik mit dem vollendeten Feinschliff zu versehen.

Neben Live Gigs in Berliner Clubs, wie z.B. Knaack Club, Lido oder Sageclub, trat die Band vielfach auf Festivals wie dem Skatefestival Schmalkalden (Thüringen), dem 5Live-Festival (Werk9, Berlin), der Headliner "WinterRockSession" (Kulturbrauerei Görlitz, Sachsen) oder dem Halbfinale Emergenza (SO36, Berlin) auf.

Mit Ihrem gerade veröffentlichten Debütalbum "Proof of Life" zeigen die Jungs, dass sich Ihre Arbeit gelohnt hat - und allen anderen wo der Hammer hängt!

That rock in Berlin has quit something to offer is not a secret anymore. In that sense KingSizeNine stands for a very exciting mix between Emo-rock and Metal Music. And with no doubt - they're going for it!

After early years of experience, finding them self together in crossover and punk, this band out of five young man (Andi-vocalist, Steve-git., Casp-git., Toni-bass, Pimp Danny-drums) is doing a fine combination of emotional and ruff riffs like no other. Their songs can be calm and melancholic and on the other hand a kick in your ass.
Under these circumstances their music gets to the mainstream as well as to the listener of hardcore Metal. The band creates an own timeless sound by not overloading their songs with complex structures, sticking to simple songwriting. The result is a rockmix based on fat guitars, pumping bass, straight drums and melodic vocals, creating a dynamic and powerful symposia about love, pain and hate but also hope and friendship.
