"Music is my Life, Love & Passion".
I am a student at the Johann Strauss School of Music, Valletta (Malta). I enrolled at the School in 2003 to study Music Theory and later I also took Music Composition. During the same time I also studied both subjects including Piano by taking extra private lessons. Apart from being a Composer, I am a Drummer, I play the Piano and I am also doing a course in Audio Engineering.
I had been a Drummer for almost 20years and I've played gigs and recorded stuff with a number of local musicians and bands which these were mainly in the Rock and Local Metal Underground scene. I came to a point were I decided to further my studies and I had to dedicate most of the time to the Music Theory and Composition studies. I was still playing Drums in my own Recording Studio, but without any real band commitments until a band made up of mature talented musicians came along and I could not refuse the offer. As a band we are going through classic numbers with Jazz, Blues and Rock elements.
The musical styles that run through my veins are on a wide range of spectrum. These include Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Metal and many of the in-betweens. Influences as such there are a lot to mention all, but to name a few these are such as: Composers: Beethoven, John Williams and Alan Silvestri; Bands/Artists: Miles Davis, Buddy Rich,Eva Cassidy, The Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, Cream, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Rush, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows.
