[ITALIANO] Nati a Modena nel settembre 2006 da componenti con esperienze eterogenee, i Normofobia hanno rapidamente cristallizzato le atmosfere nate dal loro incontro, fatte di stratificazioni ipnotiche, in un demo autoprodotto sospeso tra i gelidi ’70 berlinesi e gli ’80 di Bauhaus, primi Litfiba e Diaframma. In primavera 2007 la traccia 1 del demo, Aarhus II, è stata trasmessa su AntennaUno Rockstation. Nella primavera – estate 2007 i N. hanno suonato molto dal vivo, sperimentando ogni volta qualcosa di nuovo nel suono, e aggiungendo alle canzoni alcuni reading. Da Giugno 2007 i N. supportano SoloRobaNostra, movimento di promozione della musica originale modenese. Con il 2008 i Normofobia presentano una nuova line-up: Emanuele alla voce e Davide alla batteria. Nel luglio 2008 incidono l’e.p. autoprodotto “Emozioni elementari”, che si avvicina a sonorità noise, post-rock e psichedeliche. Nell’autunno 2008 il batterista Davide è costretto da motivi personali ad abbandonare Modena; nel dicembre 2008 entra a far parte del progetto Kynan.

[ENGLISH] Normofobia was born in Modena at the rising of fall 2006. Sebastian and Laura gave the band the first songs where psichedelia is the main ingredient; together with Aemil dark-wave print at keyboards and vocals, then Reagan deconstructed drumming style, Normofobia let 'EXPERIMENTATION' be the keyword of this young project. A demo came out 2 months later, a week before a premature 'stand-by' of the band due to Reagan's trip abroad that lasted some months. On April, 2007 post-rock influences mixed with theatrical readings evolve as a new energy of the band. Everything will focus a pure experimental and eclectic scene tied to a denominator of shoegaze/dark/psichadelic shades; a delirious and cathartic weave that plunges its 'iter' in a garage with its red light. During last winter the Fate decided that it was time to renew the line-up and freeze the project. After a period of collaboration with Francesco (ex Normativa) the project starts again with Emanuele and Davide. After recording new "Emozioni elementari" EP in July 2008, Davide, due to personal reasons, has to leave Modena and, once again, Normofobia have to look for a new drummer. In December 2008 they finally choose Kynan.
