Nudge were a studio band (with occasional live rehearsals and jams) existing from 1998-2003 and consisting of Twiggy and friends. Essentially Stephen Branch, Andy Wainwright, Dave Nevard, Tammy Hales and Tracey Coyne. Formed from the relics of live act GUTT after Twiggy & Andy got booted out by Steve (wine wif and bowie knife) Kemp. The "serious" act Gravytrain grew out of this, but fell apart after Andy went a bit nuts and claimed to have given away all of Twiggy's works to er- Steps. Then Dave hijacked the band and threw Twiggy out. And Tammy didn't like Twiggy looking at other girls. And Andy was jealous of Tammy & Twiggy. And we were all off our faces on drugs. Very weird, very emotional, very low budget, but shows the power of music and friendship. A real soap opera of a band... Jerry Spinger The Alternative Act. A lot like Saint Etienne and The Beautiful South.
