The acoustic rock group Sungod Abscondo is C. Mark Manney (Abscondo), K. Macke, and David Latinovic (who joined in May 2009). The group is made up of two Americans and a Serbian who currently call Slovakia home. Here we have found freedom to live and create.
The band formed in 2005 over a beer in Presov, Slovakia. Imperfect People was released in the Spring of 2007, with the acoustic album Inside Open Wide released in the Spring of 2009. The band play regular shows in the pubs of Slovakia.
Despite the fact that the band has never toured, tracks from Imperfect People were played on dozens of non-commercial radio stations across North America (including KAOS, KJHK, WXOU, WPKN, and KCWR).
Since the release of Imperfect People, Abscondo has also released two well-received solo albums, Midnight Snow and Stages, which are also available on Jamendo.
