Aesthetic Evidence writes and performs experimental music using recordings of spoken human voices as musical elements and inspiration.  They collect these recordings from otherwise uninvolved people using a portable recording station called the Bring Your Own Voice booth.
Band members play traditional and electronic instruments including software samplers which control the triggering of the voice recordings.  In this way, specific combinations of spoken human voice samples become instruments which are played much like a piano, guitar or drums.  During Aesthetic Evidence performances, audience members are given the opportunity to become part of the music by donating their voice which is used in real time as part of the music.
