Anima est un groupe seine et marnais formé en février 2004 par Quentin et Jim, tous deux amoureux du son Punk-Rock de leur jeunesse. Apres quelques changements de line-up, le groupe trouve sa formation définitive quelques mois plus tard et enregistre sa première démo 2 titres afin de pouvoir commencer à se produire en concert. Continuant sur leur lancée, ils enregistrent encore 4 titres et sortent en 2006 leur première autoproduction intitulée "Faux Semblants". L'accueil enthousiaste du public leur permet d'enchaîner une série de concerts et les motive à travailler toujours plus.

Aujourd'hui, Anima présente "Réalités" leur nouvel opus contenant 8 titres. Le son est résolument Punk-Rock, mais tire aussi quelques influences du Heavy Metal pour donner naissance à une musique énergique, mélodique, puissante et définitement Rooooooooooooooock 'n Roooooooooooooll!!!

Anima was created in February 2004 by former members Quentin and Jim, both in love with the punk-rock sound of their teenage years. After a couple of line-up changes, the band finally finds stability a few months later and records two song as a first demo CD, in order to start performing live.
In 2006 , they follow up with the recording of another auto-produced demo : "Faux Semblant", which contains 6 tracks. The positive feedbacks allows the guys to play a bunch of shows, and gives them the strengh to work even harder.

Late 2007, Anima releases a new CD, "Réalités", with 8 new tracks, inspired by punk-rock and heavy-metal sounds, to create some energetic, melodic, powerful music, definitively Rooooooooooooooock 'n Roooooooooooooll!!!
