Benshmark is the alias of a single person. The musician wants to stay unknown because he doesn't know yet how his music will be accepted.

Benshmark started to learning guitar at the age of 11 and his passion for music was there since his early childhood. When he was 16 he joined his first band and performed right before 'cacumen' which call themselves now 'Bonfire' at a local music festival.

Benshmark plays guitar, bass and a little keyboards and drums. He'd love to have his own recording studio with all the different instruments there. But since his financial possibilities are limited he tried to create some songs with simple equipment.
His music is sort of 'easy listening' oriented at the icelandic gruop 'Mezzoforte'. Further influences are coming from Dave Grusin, Casiopea, Lee Ritenour and Level 42.
