Dolores is a French duo. Raphael (vocals, guitars, keys and bass) and Mushead (guitars, vocals, bass, samples and drums programming) have been making music together for more than ten years, recording several demos, the sound quality of which became more and more decent as technology grew more and more user-friendly.
Though it was at first influenced by accoustic folk and slow core acts such as Red House Painters or American Music Club, their sound shifted to more pop- and IDM-oriented influences, as they started to have fun with their computers and samples, and discovered a whole brand new range of influences such as the Notwist, Hood or even a few Anticon outfits.
Undone is their latest demo, and perfectly mirrors the way their music has evolved, and hopefully, has become their very own. It was remastered by Kramer (who produced Low and Galaxie 500, among many other great artists).
