Gurdonark favors a sharing music economy, based upon use of Creative Commons licenses to permit easy remixing/sampling and sharing. His work is frequently used in small videos, films, websites, and games. He encourages all non-commercial uses, and releases a substantial percentage of his work on an attribution basis so that even commercial users may seek to use his work with attribution only. He is delighted when a youtube user uses one of his songs for a new video.
