     Castillian version:

   Jazz – Oil nació en Noviembre de 2004 de la confluencia de miembros dos grupos de fusión: soab! e Infussion. Con una actitud en un principio más parecida a un grupo de rock que a un cuarteto de jazz , Jazz – Oil cita como influencias a John Scofield, Liquid Soul, Medeski Martin & Wood y otros muchos de un amplio abanico de estilos musicales.

         El bajista Pepe Frías mantiene con swing y groove la estructura junto al baterista Diego Naranjo, mientras que Rafa Arregui y Miguel Delgado cierran con sus guitarras el círculo de raíces jazz y actitud funk que conforma esta joven banda sevillana.

         Jazz—Oil han actuado como grupo residente en las Jam Session de la Sala Fun Club y han participado en la edición de 2005 del ciclo “Ahora Jazz!” de la Universidad de Sevilla.

English version:

Jazz - Oil was born in November 2004 of the confluence of two groups of fusion: soab! and Infussion. With a background at first more like a rock band than a jazz quartet , Jazz - Oil cites as influences, John Scofield, Liquid Soul, Medeski Martin & Wood and many others a wide range of musical styles.

          The bassist Pepe Frias maintains swing and groove structure along with drummer Diego Naranjo, while Rafa Arregui (on keyboards) and Miguel Delgado (electric guitar, composer) close  the circle with their jazz funk attitude that makes unique this young band from Seville.

          Jazz-Oil has acted as the resident in the Jam Session of the Fun Club and have participated in the 2005 edition of the series "Jazz Now!" At the University of Seville.
