Magnetic Music is the NEW NAME for Canada's Magnetic. The decision to change the name came after the discovery that a large number of artists were using that name and it was becoming a challenge to be unique.

Magnetic Music has released 3 official albums, [the magnetic north], II, and Ghosts.

The group’s sound has evolved over time from being influenced by an ambient style to a more post rock influenced sound, incorporating more organic instrumentation and diverse song structures.

The New Year sees Magnetic Music hard at work on songs for a new record, entitled 'Walls'. Currently being mixed, the 7 song release should see the light of day in early May 2009.
