Il gruppo Maló nasce all'inizio del 1997, sperimentando contaminazioni di generi musicali e sonorità inedite per quel periodo.
Nei primi tre anni di attività la line up del gruppo cambia spesso, ruotando attorno al duo fisso Simone Bertani e Daniele Lucchini, che sono anche gli autori di tutti i brani della formazione mantovana.

Maló were born in early 1997.
During first three years, their line up changed often, while the duo Simone Bertani and Daniele Lucchini, also authors of all of Maló's songs, never left the band.
