Meat Machine is me, Jono Davis, singing while hitting the guitar. I also move back and forth and interject commentary. I began this Machine in October of 2005.

I prefer basements to backstage, and living rooms to lighting. Microphones are nice, but I'd rather see a level playing field. Feelings over fidelity. "Drop-it-like-it's-hot"s not bombs. I've written a lot of songs that I can sing and play guitar to, and I've learned how to play a lot of songs by musicians I like. I'm slowly recording things I hope you'd like to hear, and I plan to "do it to it" until I can't "do it to it" anymore.

Bred in NJ, and bringing my talents to the table in CA. To those on the East coast: I miss you dearly, and I know you'll do great things, which you should mail to me. To those in my new home: let's make fun noises together.
