More information...
Omainen was formed in 2001 as a band of friends willing to do metal together. At first doing old school heavy metal in the vein of Iron Maiden, they rapidly evolved in a power/speed metal band with progressive influence. The second demo "The Death of the Nations" released in 2006 pushed the band to ever improve both technically and musically.
In 2009, the third demo "Routes to Nowhere" (recorded by François Ugarte) saw the musical orientation of the band heading to progressive thrash. This demo was very well received.
The band is currently writting material for their first full length album.
