Les PAPER PLANE PILOTS sont un trio rock de la région parisienne (Les Clayes– sous-Bois, Yvelines), jouant des compositions originales influencées principalement par la scène rock alternative américaine et mélangeant habilement mélodies et énergie.
John (chant/guitare – songwriting) et Max (chœurs/basse) jouent de la musique ensemble depuis 2001. Après plusieurs concerts en formation duo acoustique, ils décidèrent de rebrancher les guitares et croisèrent le chemin d’Yves, batteur de son état.
Depuis 2004, les PPP ont eu l’opportunité de se produire à Paris (Trabendo, Capitol Studios, Balle au Bond, Péniche 6/8, Chat Noir,…) et en Ile-de-France (Saint-Cyr l’Ecole, Chaville, Sèvres, Viroflay…) notamment en première partie de Logh (Bad Taste Records – Suède) ou encore Federal (Un dimanche – France).
Ils ont prévu d’enregistrer leur premier album en autoproduction début 2008.
