[ABOUT SEASIDE PROJECT - ENGLISH]

 "Seaside Project" is a "one man" musical experiment and represents the Emanuele Barboni's aka zOnk Volta [Togaparty, Blue Morning Sky, The Novel] synth pop musical project. He writes the songs, he plays the instruments, he records, he mixes, he masters, he shares.

Emanuele met computer music in May, 2009.

On September, 2009 he released his first job.

"Seaside Project" was born in december 2007 as an acoustic show. Now, it evolved in an electro pop musical project (but "never say never", he could change his musical style from a day to another), and Emanuele is working on the first EP. The project is deeply inspired by 80's and 90's pop and dance, electro and new wave music.

All the tunes are written, recorded and arranged by Emanuele in his little Studio in Milan, Italy.

"Seaside Project" è il progetto "One man" synth pop di Emanuele Barboni aka Zonk Volta, lead singer e chitarrista della band punk "The Novel" e precedentemente chitarrista della band hardcorepunk "Togaparty" (poi "Blue Morning Sky"- 2001-2004). Emanuele suona, mixa, remixa, scrive i testi:  il prodotto finale è sempre e solo frutto della mente di un'unica persona.

Emanuele ha incontrato la computer music nel Maggio del 2009.

A settembre 2009 ha consegnato alla Rete il primo singolo.

Nato nel dicembre 2007, il Seaside Project ha inizialmente dato origine ad uno show live chiamato "Seaside Project - Acoustic set" presentato mensilmente presso il bar Magenta di Milano.

Ad oggi, Seaside Project si è evoluto in chiave electro pop, e sta preparando l'uscita del primo EP. Le influenze sono il pop, la dance, l'electro e la new wave anni '80 e '90.

Tutti i brani sono scritti, arrangiati, eseguiti e mixati da Ema nel suo micro studio a Milano.

[ABOUT EMANUELE BARBONI - ENGLISH]

Musician, writer and photographer, Emanuele M. Barboni is in the "artistic world" since he was sixteen. Now he is 28. Well known in Italy as one of the most influential stage photo artist and photography theorical, after the language school (1995-2000) he confered a degree on Communication in 2004 and on fine art, music and drama in 2009, both with experimental thesis on photography. His style is aggressive, dirty and detailed. His style's evolution brought him from a classic to a distorted, critic and visionary view of reality. He keeps on experiment new subjects and new techniques looking for an original and "never seen before" result. Emanuele Barboni can be considered a 360 degrees artist, who moves from art to film making, from digital imaging to documentary passing through web, novel, stories and music production. His art is contemporary and future oriented: digital, dark and experimental. His reason why is the mark he leaves everytime he passes, and his final goal is the creation of experimental theories. He's inspired and deeply influenced from Andy Warhol's pop, cubism, italian neorealism and surrealism with some particular attention to abstract and electronic arts. Emanuele M. Barboni, also known as zOnk Volta, was born and lives in Milan, north Italy. During the last years he worked for important magazines and adv companies, concentrating himself on stage photography research.

[ABOUT EMANUELE BARBONI - ITALIAN] 

Musicista, scrittore sperimentale e fotografo, Emanuele M. Barboni (Milano, 1981) naviga nel campo della creazione artistica dall’età di sedici anni. Ora ne ha 28. Il suo stile è particolarmente aggressivo, sporco, dettagliato. L’evoluzione del suo stile lo ha portato da una visione della realtà classica e ovattata ad una visionaria, distorta, critica. Sperimenta nuove tecniche e nuovi soggetti cercando sempre di ottenere un risultato originale. Conosciuto per il suo lavoro e le sue teorie nell'ambito della fotografia dello spettacolo dal vivo, dopo il liceo linguistico (1995-2000) consegue la laurea in Comunicazione nel 2004 e in Scienze dello Spettacolo nel 2009, entrambe con tesi sperimentali sulla fotografia. In ambito artistico ha creato il "manifesto del soggettivismo critico visuale" ed una raccolta di saggi sulla teoria della fotografia di scena. In ambito letterario sta portando a termine una raccolta di saggi sperimentali ispirati al surrealismo. In ambito filosofico ha elaborato la "teoria del rinnovamento", in continua evoluzione. Suona nella band punk The Novel e sta realizzando un progetto solista electro pop dal nome Seaside Project. Emanuele Barboni può essere considerato un artista a tutto tondo che spazia dall'arte alla cinematografia, dal digital imaging al documentario, dal web design alla music production. La sua arte è contemporanea e orientata al futuro; digitale, dark e sperimentale gli aggettivi che la definiscono meglio. La sua reason why è il segno che lascia ad ogni suo passaggio e la sua meta definitiva è la creazione di teorie sperimentali, che trovano il loro luogo ideale nella factory e nel laboratorio creativo. f.a
