The band DRS+ has adopted this appelation in 2003 as two emblematic bands of the Bulgarian hip hop scene DRS and Nokaut decided to merge for a common project. Each band has contribute for a half of the members of the new fusion and the style of DRS+ combines elements of freestyle and old school hip hop with hard sound imputable to Nokaut. As one of the numerous representatives of the hip hop bands in Bulgaria which amout is huge and no deficit could be noticed at that level, DRS+ outstands the idea of popularisation not only of the hip hop music as such but of the hip hop culture as a whole but only for a specific part of the public exteremely asocial orientated fans. Besides the music, the members of the band are keen on painting, on grafitti art etc. Mainly mixing decks on turntable during live performences they have joint live participations with bands such as Skre4 and Kaya as well whereas rapping is accompanied with live instrumental. They have common projects with other artits including Bobo from Snyper records, Promoe from Sweden etc. DRS+ has already won the Bulgarin music awards garnted by the MM Music television in the category Viewrs Diggest in 2004 and have warmed up for Jeru The Damaja, RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) and Lords Of The Underground.
