zircon (aka Andrew Aversa) is an electronic dance music artist working out of Philadelphia, PA. Specializing in breakbeat (funky/nu skool) and big beat with trance influences, he has three albums spanning over 30 original songs. He also regularly releases free video game music remixes on the site OverClocked ReMix. Influences include BT, Hybrid, Crystal Method, Prodigy, Ils, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, and Moby. In 2006 his second album, "Impulse Prime", won Best Techno Album at the prestigious Just Plain Folks indie music awards, with the song "Tomorrow" winning Best Techno Song.
