We're after a lot of the same things in a sound. Or maybe have similar backgrounds. I listened this morning and nothing really stuck with me... That's not good, the image certainly did and an idea of the raw sound. I'm looking forward to #2.

Thanks for working so hard for all,
I think I'd donate to you guys if I had more than $1.63 just because there's a lot of potential here.

I wish I spoke Spanish because this is no doubt one of my favorite albums on Jamendo so far. Downloaded right away, starred and sent the link to my sister (her boyfriends from Sonora).

Best,

That's all I'm wishing for.

I like the raw production. "Things" is cool. Great beat and good changes.

There are some really fun and nice moments but I just feel that you fellas should take some more time on vocals and really put something together.

I don't mean a thing. I'm just being honest...

Thanks for working something. Just to produce in this industry can be whatever...

Big fan...

I feel like such a Paint Splashin' wanna be mod sometimes. Surprised at the bitterness in the lyrics. Getting paid for what you do is cool but a rock star friend of mine is unhappy, too.

The album sounds like a nice powerful breeze in parts, thunder in others... It's electro and very well produced.

Be well,

Ward

I worked as a designer in LA for a year and we would have listened to this all day. Really wonderful stuff, and more dangerous then what we had back in the 90's for synth-pop. I like it alot. I'm actually gonna download this one.

Hehe...

If I were 12 again, I would so have bought this instead of Walk Among Us (which I recorded on cassette and let my buddy buy, anyway). Add some innocuous words in Latin backword and you'll freak out some parents in the 70's.

But seriously, this is a blast to listen to.

Personal data

I grew up listening to the Beatles on FM radio with my family. Then I was into the blues, The Clash and Adam Ant. My friend John Eisenhart introduced me to hardcore punk: Circle Jerks, Black Flag and Minor Threat... I was sort of stuck there for years until Nick Hexum invited me to sing for his band that played mostly Cure, The Smiths and R.E.M. covers, along with six originals. I moved to L.A. with Nick in '88 and started listening to the Beatles again plus all the KROQ bands. Nick left L.A. when Chad couldn't get a job, they moved back and played with my band at Raji's before they got signed and the rest is history (well, I'm history, their History) ;-) Ward
