I enjoy the music dark. I want to plumb the depths of consciousness. I want to discover how music interacts with consciousness and how music can actually alter it. I want to make music that people enjoy listening to; but beyond that, I want the music to actually change the listener in irreversible ways, hopefully for the better. Have I succeed at this yet? No. Will I succeed? Only time will tell, and it is certain to be difficult. But it is a worthy goal, I think.
