The story behind this band is very interesting, however it's hard to understand phenomena of their success at jamendo. I guess that world of alternative music is just quite the same as mainstream. Kitsch is easier to listen.
Tryad sounds like midi music from mahjong. It's just awful. That's all I want to say. In the name of real alternative composers.

"Real" alternative composers. I've played with some biggies and have an art degree and music minor. What's "Kitsch" about global cooperation.

You ain't speakin' for me, brother.

Midi music, that's being a little harsh.

Banal pop - maybe, but definitely not kitsch. Kitsch is what Costlow does, for example.
Anyway, Pop is a legitimate style of music directed to the masses, you don't have to like Tryad but you have to admit that they did a good job for their style on this album, so your rating is not fair, it just reflects your jealousy.

I was just rating in harmony with my sense of taste. In my opinion banal pop is kitsch. It's not just about "not being alternative". I respect "good pop", however Tryad didn't make any good job, and their album just sucks. And of course I am jealous! But jealous just of their success, not "invention".

There's nothing kitsch about global cooperation, unless it's effects are kitschy.

I've never played with biggies and probably never will, but I have a degree in musicology and graduated musical school.

    Sorry for my English.
    Best regards,

Pure jealousy. You are jealous of their hardwork. Their first album is a jewel.
