I'm not quite sure but I think the use of the term "independent artist" means that jamendo supports new upcoming musicians and talent. I kind of find it hard to get to the upload form on this site, maybe because I'm a little slow at clicking and reading, or should I say maybe my comprehensive abilities are diminishing with age? I'll keep reading to see where this goes, but in the meantime if anybody get's this and can help me get either ON, or correct my thinking, HELP!

I think you should have a look at the FAQ section - it'll give you the basic information on what Jamendo is about and how can you upload your music and generally about what can you do with the site. Generally speaking, if you are not signed to a label then you can publish your work yourself using this site.

STEP 1: SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
STEP 2: CLICK ON THE LINK TITLED "UPLOAD YOUR ALBUM" UNDERNEATH THE HEADING 'ARTISTS CORNER'
STEP 3: ???????????????
STEP 4: PROFIT
