I click on any song or band and the player pops out but the play button icon animates like ajax download but nothing. Am I the only one this is happening too?

    Thanks

If you can't get it to work by fiddling with your Javascript or Flash settings, go to Edit Preferences and change your Streaming format to External Player, either "Ogg Vorbis, m3u" or "MP3, m3u". Then your browser will pop up your favourite music player instead of using the website's Javascript one.

It's likely to be Javascript or Flash blocking at your end, otherwise there would be hundreds of reports here.

Well here's more, just in a different topic
    http://www.jamendo.com/en/forums/discussion/4409/bring-back-the-old-player-/#Item_0
OK it works in IE if it loads for about a minute but I haven't waited long enough in FF I guess. I'll look into my settings thanks.
IMO Jamendo should look into it since only about 1 out of 15 people on the net will say something, the rest will just exit out and go somewhere else.
    Just trying to help, thanks.

I contacted Jamendo and they are now aware of the problem. Their tech team is working on a solution.

    Woohoo!

But in addition to them fixing the problem, it would be good to know what the problem actually was.

I never witnessed it myself (but I'm sure it was there of course). So am I immune because I use external players?

Or do some people who use external players see the problem too?

    Mystery ...

I have Exactly the same problem. The pop up window of the player does nothing. Another problem i have is that when i changed my settings of the streaming format to 'Mp3, m3u' i get a blank page every time i try to play a song saying 'Unit rsi doesn't exist!'

Is there something i can do to fix it. I like Jamendo so much but it doesn't work properly on my computer.
I can listen though others' playlists.
I tried both IE and FF. Any suggestion?

    Thank you

Works fine here in the latest Firefox. Did you disable all addons, proxies or whatever other things might meddle with web traffic?
