THE KYOTO CONNECTION

FATHER | SON

2011

A concept album by The Kyoto Connection. A musical journey through the circle of existence, since the conception of the Universe, until the last day of a man.

FATHER | SON explores moments and feelings like growth, love, hate and compassion. The place of "One" in the middle of the universe, through immersive electronic environments, inspiring fusions of eastern melodies and lyrics that encourage the exercise of the soul.

To cut a long story, short... fascinating.

Undoubtedly, we are in the presence of an interesting electronic concept, with a very pop sharp slope, occasionally dotted with an oriental scent. The overall structure of the album is strong and despite the short duration, quite satisfactory, even when considering that the story at its basis, could always be more explored. Musically, the album is very appellative in its totality, a fact to which are not indifferent the melodic outlines and some quite delightful and competent feminine vocals, which, by their sensibility and adequacy, incorporate beauty as an extra factor of interest. Some mysticism, even if not very pronounced, completes the fascination idea that the album generates and offers also, some possibility for traveling through the mind. Have a pleasant journey.

``The last days of a Samurai Soul`` tambièn me encantò, el piano, la percusiòn, y el clima tan interesante y atrapante.

Spending a few hundred bucks for an airplane trip every day ? No need ! Set up your headphones and start playing The Kyoto Connection: ladies and gentlemen, the voyage begins ! FATHER | SON takes you higher in outer space and exploring deeper in the human's feelings. A melody that captivates and enwraps you from the beginning to the end, even further than the previous albums. Many thanks for the flight :)
