Ursprünglich kommen Limbo deluxe ja eher aus der Electro-Szene. Doch auf ihrem jetzt bei Jamendo veröffentlichten Album "Rodeo" spielen Rockgitarren und lateinamerikanische Rhythmen die Hauptrolle. Die Richtung hatte Limbo deluxe schon mit dem 2006 veröffentlichten "Waiting For The Judgement Day" vorgegeben: Ein Hauch Spaghetti-Western, ein wenig TexMex-Feeling - und dazu notfalls auch noch kreischende Gitarren. Die zwischen 2006 und 2009 entstandenen Lieder von "Rodeo" wurden im Proberaum aufgenommen. Die Lieder gäben die Athmosphäre der Proben am frühen Abend wieder, meint Mr. Juan. Und so ist hier die Sehnsucht nach Urlaub, nach Party, nach Romantik ebenso zu hören wie auch der Frust nach einem Tag harter Arbeit. Und das kommt prima rüber. Runterladen!
